- Winner, Winner... First things first, the random(.org) winner of the copy of "Dead Running," and who will also be entered in to the big fitness giveaway, is Laurel!!! Laurel please message me your mailing information!
- Run, Fatboy, Run... Finally netflixed this movie last night, what a riot. "You need to sweat more." And what was up with the jean shorts?!?! I can't even imagine running a 5k in a pair of jorts!
- K-zoo... Sunday is the Kalamazoo Marathon, Borgess Half & 5k and my Florida frenemy Harold and his lovely gf are flying in tomorrow to run the Half with Spike on Sunday. I was sooooo tempted to do the 5k but with River Bank Run 10k next weekend I decided that I'll be rocking my spectating pants instead. (I'm also looking forward to finally meeting he of the bald and bearded, Jordan!) Good luck to all those racing the K-zoo this weekend!!!

Why have I never heard of this movie? Simon Pegg is a God! I'll have to drag my wife to see it with me, she hasn't liked him since Shaun of the Dead.
I have not seen that movie yet! I want to. :)
I thought the hitting the wall scene in that movie was ingenious! Good soundtrack too!
I'm excited to finally meet you guys! It's only been 3 years lol!
That movie is so awesome. Have fun spectating this weekend & good luck to Spike!
I love the blister part. So jucy.
Run FatBoy Run is a fav of mine. The blister scene...."I wonder if there is a little man in there who looks just like you, only is a good runner."
Cheer for me sunday!!! I'm running!!! and i know jordan! he is in the Epic running club with me! awesome guy! :)
Yay Kzoo! See ya there!
This is another running movie I haven't seen! Putting it in my queue!
Have fun spectating- smart girl to save yourself for the mighty race ahead :)
Random - my college ex went to school in Kzoo, so I spent quite a few weekends there! He also has family in Northport, MI - which is GORGEOUS. Much better than Kzoo...hah
have a fun run-filled weekend!
"I can't even imagine running a 5k in a pair of jorts!"
I CHALLENGE you to make it happen!
This isn't related to your post above, but I saw your comment on Runners Rambles post - and it rang true. Some people need to appreciate what they have if they are healthy - and not complain as much about not meeting a time goal or something. They are out there running, which is more than some people have.
I ran in jean shorts once and chafed like HELL!
About time you saw the most inspirational running movie of all time and the inspiration for all that I do. Consider your life changed.
I ran the Kazoo marathon on Sunday. Great race!
