Meters Swam: 0 m - I really need to get motivated to get back in the pool!
Miles Biked: 19 M - Better than last month, but still need to get that number up!
Miles Elliptical'd: 3.4 M
Miles Walked: 7.7 M - Mostly accumulated via pre- and post-run walking.
Flights of Stairs Climbed: 156 Flights
Rest Days: 11
Current Reads: (Reading) Atonement by Ian McEwan; Still working on this one from the end of last month. I had a hard time getting in to it but now that I gutted through the first few chapters it's starting to pick up.
(Finished) None, total slacker.
Current Shame-Inducing Guilty Pleasure: I'm still perusing the drama on the wedding boards. *Hangs head in shame.*
Current Obsession: My recent shellac manicure. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but seriously, my nails produce some kind of natural oil that makes it impossible for me to paint them without it chipping off inside of an hour (and you can forget fake nails because they just pop off). I got the shellac treatment on recommendation from a friend and it lasted over a week! This is BIG!!!
Current Song: T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) - will.i.am
Current Wish-List: For this unseasonably warm winter to stick around long enough for Spring to arrive!
Current Need: To get over this nasty sinus infection. Ugh. :-/
Current Triumph: That my recent leg pain was nothing serious and only set me back a little.
Current Bane of my Existence: Spammers. On the one hand I wouldn't have a job without them but on the other, they drive me insane!!!
Current Goal: To continue my R2R safely and responsibly.
Current Indulgence: Painting! I can't seem to get enough of it lately and have been cranking them out weekly. I've been sticking mostly to simple, colorful children paintings until I get a little better, giving them to my various nieces, nephews, and little cousins. Here's a few of my most recent:

(Pretty sure my Dad was bummed I didn't paint this one for him...)
Current Blessings: Being able to spend time and support those we care about during a difficult time and the continued love, encouragement, and support from my family, friends, all of you, and especially, my beloved Spike.
Current Excitement: B.o.B (Who ran the Miami Marathon this past weekend, go give her a high five!) is coming for a visit in two and a half weeks!!! Woo-hoo!!! We've also got a very important "Winter Hacienda" weekend after that where the fate of two of our friends' unborn children's names will be decided via an eating contest by the men. They're proposing the food of choice be from TB, any bets on what absurd names Spike will come up with when he dominates the field?!?!
How'd your January shape up?!?!
Running is what you make of it, make it an Adventure!™

15 M, hell to the YES! Was reading a Runner's World article and thought of you. It was about weight and injuries.......
R2R MONTH! Woooohoooooo! How good is it to see some running stats up there!
Ohmigosh, I can't wait for this "Winter Hacienda" to take place... we are going to need a full recap.
I am with you on the spammers!! I hate the comments they leave!
Nice workouts. You are a fitness machine these days. wootwoot
My neice is a beautician and does the girls in the family's nails (all but me) all the time. It's definately not just opening a bottle of color anymore. Although I don't get mine done, they always look amazing!
Love the painings!
Love the paintings! And I can't wait to hear the results of the eating contest.
nice paintings I want a unicorn :) and great January! I didn't have nearly as good of one but February and March here I come!!!!

It's got to be McSweetness. :)
I love the paintings!
Congrats on the mileage numbers this month!! You are definitely taking R2R the smart way.
Love the paintings!
Ok, so is this contest based on speed or amount? Is Baja Blast allowed (because I'm convinced it disintegrates any TB food in your stomach on contact)? Are we going hard shell, soft shell, or mixed. If mixed, do we mean mixed as in both at the same time (a la Gordita Crunch) or alternating hard/soft.
P.S. - That unicorn painting is adorable
Wow january recap already? Spring is sneaking up on us I'm telling you. Yay for running and for very fun painting!
I love that Will i am song so much I could listen to it constantly. LOVE!
Can't believe January is over - very cool to see the number in the 'miles ran' category.
WOOOOHOOOOOOO ON 15M!!!!
And I'm so excited to come see you and Spike. I vote TB and chili on the the ride home from TC. We'll have to open every window. Cold weather be damned. LOL!!!!
Thanks on the congrats. I LOVE you Boo.
yay for 15 miles! SO happy things are getting better and going well for yoU!!!!!!!!
A definite hell yeah to 15 miles! And a second to the spring-like weather in the Midwest. I'm sure it's making your R2R that much better.
And, btw, love the art. Like, love it - love it. Whenever you start taking requests for little boys' rooms, sign me up!
Um, wow, with the paintings! I do not have a creative cell in my body. Happy for 15 miles! Before you know it there will be a zero behind that 5.
So relieved it was just a brief false scare and everything is fine with your leg!
Love the paintings! :)
You're a great painter!! Seriously! Have you ever thought about selling them on eBay or Etsy?
15 miles, yea!
And yea, can I hire you to do paintings for me? Impressive stuff!
Woot to the 15!!! Your paintings are wonderful - I skill that I could never, never obtain!!
Those paintings are awesome!!! You've got talent girl!
Start a painting blog and sell those things they are incredible. Seriously!
and while we don't get your weather it has been incredible down here too and it could stay like this right through May if I have a vote.
15 miles!!!!!!! Watch out world, Red is coming! What a great way to pick baby names. I bought canvases MONTHS ago, and I've left my sketchbook in the living room for over a year. Does that count toward being creative/artistic?
15 miles .... beautiful. Congrats, and very glad the recent scare turned out well. Very nice work on the paintings - my kids would love those.
I love love love your paintings. Maybe I should check out these wedding boards. Lol. My january was fantastic. I hope this weather holds up until spring too. I ran more miles this january than in any january ever before.

15 Miles!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
I just saw will.i.am on the UK version of Top Gear. He seems like an all around cool dude.
Sweet paintings! Are you going to incorporate your painting talent into the wedding at all??
Love the pictures!!! Can't wait to see how your miles keep ramping up. Great job.
Yay for miles! And and even bigger yay for listening to your body and being cautious. I was definitely scared for you there for a minute!

Terrific paintings!!
Glad to hear that you like the shellac manicure..... I have been hesitant because it is a bit priecier.
So glad your getting to run again! Oh I love shellac.. it's addicting! It stays on so long! I love your paintings! I am trying to figure out how to paint on canvas... just kinda winging it...
Glad to see you're running!

Have you seen the movie Atonement? I thought it was fantastic, albeit a little depressing at the end.
