Here it is folks, the end of the 30 Day Photography Challenge!!!
Snapped while spectating B.o.B's Tri. Man do I miss the beach!
And that is the end of that. I had a blast doing this, especially coming up with the perfect way to present the days challenge. I challenge all of you to take it on for a month, you'll be surprised just how much it gets your creative juices flowing!!!
Now on to some random fun shots from this past weekend in Florida...
Now on to some random fun shots from this past weekend in Florida...
Look! It's my beloved running frenemy Harold!!!
Meeting Miss Ella was my favorite part of the trip!
Spike became RJ's BFF(You can't really tell, but RJ's wearing Spike's shoes! LOL!)
And to end this post, I FINALLY heard back from the doc about my CT scan yesterday. The scans still show a slight fracture line that has not quite filled in yet and there's inflammation of the bone, both of which could be contributing to the pain I'm experiencing. So I am not being cleared yet to begin my R2R. He wants me to take the next two weeks and add resistance to biking, continue progressing the plyometrics at PT, and listen to my body. On Aug. 22 we'll have a phone consultation and take it from there. So I'm still SLOWLY but surely getting there. *Sigh*

My almost-but-not-quite-healed bone.

Haha! I remember your frenemy posts well.
I like how you look incedibly short next to Spike. Do you have large height difference?
There is a 12 inche height difference between my Hubz and I. I often look like a small child next to him. LOL.
Gahhh those damn bones of yours! hurry up and heal!!! At least this is significant progress!!
Fun pics. :)
dude. seriously? what the fuck already.
At least there is significant progress now all the time. Running will be here before you know it!
You are THIS CLOSE to running again! I swear you and I were probably almost identical in our stress fracture woes, and I went out and PRed a half-marathon and a marathon. You will, too!!
And you've actually kept your fitness up, so you'll come back faster than I did. I had no swimming/pool running, and I rarely biked -- you're miles (literally and figuratively) ahead of where I was when I came back. If my stupid hedhead bones recovered, so will yours!
The 30-day photo challenge was pretty cool. We got a fancy new camera for Christmas, and this would be a good way for me to get more familiar with it. Hope that bone hurries up and heals soon. Cheers!
Spike totally seems to be hogging all the toys. Haven't you taught him to share yet?
I'm glad I'm not a radiologist - I don't see anything.
At least you are getting there!
You two clean up nicely ;) looks like such a fun trip to the sunshine state, as always!
That leg has got one stubborn attitude, geeeze.
Hahahaaa, that pic of you and Spike is pretty funny.
But seriously, didn't your leg get the f'ing memo already? It's runnin' time. But yes, progress.
Oh, I keep hoping that your fracture is healed!!! I know it's hard to stay hopeful. By 7 months, I was at my end point. You are getting closer though!
Fingers crossed that someday is in two weeks.
You and Spike are my favorite couple ever! And baby Ella is a doll.
Stupid stupid stupid disobedient bone! You do not deserve this bad luck (now one does, but you definitely don't!)! Blah...
Have you tried laser therapy yet?
