3 Things Thursday

  1. The Morganizer... I have many medals from my running "career" of which I have a few I treasure beyond all others and the other day I received a very unexpected one in the mail from Cara Jo & Mary Beth (Of Martian Meetup fame) that will definitely be added to that list. They made me my very own Martian Medal!!! Thank you ladies so much for making my week, I was in tears it meant so much to me. I continue to be humbled by the friendships and support I have from blogging. Thank you!!!

Cara nicknamed me "The Morganizer" for putting together the meetup!

  2. T-Minus 23 hours... 'til Spike and I leave for Boston!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I am so checked out it’s not even funny. (Actually, I’ve been checked out since Monday but who’s counting.) We leave first thing in the a.m. and arrive about 9:30 a.m. We plan on hitting up the expo as soon as it opens that afternoon; Commence expo-run-porn-gasm!!!

  3. Location, Location, Location… Spectating location that is. I’ll be setting up shop outside of Trader Joes, directly across the street from the convention center (runner left coming in to the Finish). If you’re going to be out there spectating too, feel free to swing by and hang, there’ll be a big ol’ mess of us cheering on the runners!

Disclaimer: I will only be in place til I see Spike cruise by, then I will crutch my way towards the finish area so we can relive this moment from last year and so I can make out with his sweatiness because I am so proud of him!!!

Catch y'all on the flipside of Beantown with lots of fun recaps!
(You can read last years here, here, and here!)

Good luck to all those racing!

I hope to see you all at some point during the weekend festivities!!!

1. You deserve such great friends. Don't settle for less. :)

2. Boston Marathon expo? I won't even begin to describe how jealous I am. ;)

1. Uhh, when I mailed you $5 you did not post a picture of it. Gee thanks!

2. That picture makes it look like you are expecting. Only because Schmoopy's hand is on your belly, not because you are obese. Yes I realize that pic is a year old and you are NOT the mother.

3. Good thing you put a disclaimer this year ... totally left me hanging last year. Hmm maybe I will swing by if possible, we will be heading to the finish around 2:40-ish and no offense but I think Schmoopy is a little slower than that.

4. Umm just felt like 3 wasn't good enough. I better see you.

This post kinda get me choked up. First your friends are super awesome, then you guy are soon Boston bound and finally your comment about reliving last year's moment. It's amazing that love can come across through written words without being said.
