- Thankful... The overwhelming care, concern, support, and motivation y'all bring on the regular is only exceeded on the days when I need it most. I am so unbelievably thankful for each and every one of you and appreciate everything you do for my spirits just by being your wonderful, caring selves.
Best. Blog Friends. EVER! - Xtrain Xtravaganza... I've hit the gym early every single day this week except this morning (Last night I had a DEEP tissue massage and left there feeling like pulverized meat but the good news is things are def starting to feel like they're getting back to normal). I still maintain my previous views on xtraining but I am thankful to be moving at all and I know first hand, from previous experience, just how important retaining my cardio fitness is to making a full recovery. Mother Nature has given us some glimpses of Spring over the last few days and it's been torture not being able to enjoy them, so I continue to anxiously await my first run back on Saturday...
- Everyone loves an Irish girl... Redhead's Rejoice! Happy St. Patty's Day! Although my days of drunken shenanigans and debauchery to celebrate my heritage are long behind me I thought I'd share a few fun pics of me in my green beer loving days! Salute!

gotta love that pulverized meat feeling. I'm headed to the chiro during lunch today and hoping for a similar experience!
Until I got to work today and saw one of my strange coworkers wearing all green and green mardi gras beads, I had no idea it was St. Patrick's Day. Which is odd mostly because my husband is half Irish and has a bright red beard. Oh well.
Glad to hear things are feeling better. Hope you are back 100% soon!
Happy St. Pat's day!
SOOO happy to hear that progress is being made, even if it's painful. Fingers crossed for Saturday!!
So glad you are starting to feel that things are getting back to normal. I fear I am in need of that pulverized meat feeling - holy tight calves, batgirl - but can't find the time to schedule the dang massage.
I hope you are doing great and have a pain-free run on Saturday!
Sounds like a little pulverizing always hurts so good!
Fingers and toes crossed for you up and running soon!
Happy St. Patty's!
Here's hoping for a pain free long run.
How could your bloggie friends not be the best - they're a testament to your awesomeness!
My St. Patrick's Day will be spent headed to Vegas with my Schmoopy!! only 2.5 more hours until he's here :D
FYI I am starting every morning with a NO LEG GREMLINS dance just for you. Stay strong girl!
So glad you are feeling better. Not a big fan of deep tissue massage. I cant handle the pain. I know what a wimp...
Along with St Patricks Day its Champagne Thursday! So I will be having a green beer with the Hubs. At home of course.
You are rocking the cross-training!! Glad you had a good DTM to work things out - let's hope this all translates to a pain free run come Saturday!
happy St. Patty's to my fave redhead!
I'm going for a 6 mile run after work and then enjoying a green beer after with the hubs.
LOVE #3! Such cute St. Pat's pics! I feel the same way about St. Pat's this year, I don't want to celebrate with the same drunken shenanigans! Feel better Red, we're all rooting for you!!!
Ok, I've been out of the loop - what happened (with running)???!! Whatever it is, I'm sorry you haven't been able to run...you'll rock it this weekend!
While I'm not quite as Irish as you (I'm only 75%) - I also love St. Patty's Day. I love what you said about shenanigans...this year I told my friend I could meet her out but only after a run and it had to be VERY low-key! :) Such an old lady that loves to run over drinking...
Love
the
photos!
I just made 4 pans of homemade mac n cheese [neighborhood mac girl - now the expect it every St. P's day] ;)
Volleyball practice with Peanut then a big food feast. YUM!!
You are having way more fun than me. I am driving kids to baseball/soccer, writing a report and making black bean burgers. Not very festive. Maybe I will get crazy and put food coloring in my Coors Light later.
Just showing some redheaded Irish love :)
Yay for progress!!
I think I'm skipping out on St. Paddy's day festivities this year, because no one needs a tipsy red head on crutches! : )
like you i've never been much of a cross trainer, but these last few weeks I know are doing me good
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, too! A little debauchery now and again never hurts, it's just different now. Have a good one.
wow. the holicious outfit and the rabbit ears. what is that from, 1988? who does rabbit ears? ;)
i hope your leggies are feeling better!
I hope that St. Patrick blesses you with health to be able to run soon!
Great pics, I'm only 50% Irish, I love St. Patty's Day!
I went to Dublin this past summer, and it was amazing. I truly felt the warmth of the Irish spirit. Luck of the Irish to everyone today, and especially the country of Japan.
This years St Patrick's day celebration was very tame. It consisted of eating a corned beef and cabbage dinner with my sister and nieces and enjoying a Guinness. I did workout this morning with my 4-leaf clover socks! :)

Hang in there girl!!
It's been a crazy week here, and we're "celebrating" by laying on the couch and watching movies/TV all night, alone for the first time all week :)
You make it easy to cheer you on. That's why your blog buddies support you so much.
¡Viva la Roja!
Glad you are feeling better and hopeful that deep tissue massage worked everything out!
I celebrated with an early morning swim!
Cross training has been treating me good the past month. You will come back stronger and I hope you are back to 100% by the Cleveland Marathon, I want to cheer you on as you cross that finish line :)
You just can't beat a good massage. I've got a hot stone on order for tomorrow following a mid range run. Can't Wait!
I really dislike xtraning, too. Hang in there!
St. Patrick's Day was low key here--just dinner and a Guinness with the fiance and some co-workers!
I celebrated St. Patty's day by volunteering at a race!
BTW I'm your newest follower! And if you ever need a guest blogger I'm your gal. Come check out my blog. Cheers!
Soooo glad that you're feeling better!!!!
