- The Social Network - Excellent movie, highly recomment.
- Saturday morning I met the Fam at Tony's, a truck stop infamous for their greasy food and large portions. They have sloganed apparel, "Got Bacon" and when my fam ordered up their dishes they were delivered at least a 1lb of bacon each. I opted for the lightest thing on the menu I could find; 3 eggs and 3 slices of toast. It was humanly impossible for me to eat that much food and boy was I happy I didn't later... Oy!
- After breakfast we hit up Bronner's Christmas Wonderland for a complete overload of all things Christmas. I for one was much more excited about their Halloween displays. I love me some Halloween.
- Christmas'd out we headed into Frankenmuth to peruse the Bavarian Village; the weather SUCKED so it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as it could've been but I was definitely entertained by the random sights:

- Sunday I spectated Spike as he ran the Brooksie Way Half Marathon, he did great, top 100 finisher! While he was out running I kept myself entertained by getting a Pumpkin Chai Latte, meeting the infamous TNT Coach Ken, snagging a ride with a race worker in his golf cart to the finish line while he gave me a historic recap of the area and taking in the sights of the beautiful Oakland University Campus. Rochester Hills is such a beautiful area but a little too hilly for me!
- Have you read all the controversy going on between Marie Claire and the healthy living bloggers? The article they wrote is bananas! My heart goes out to the girls that were included in that controversial article and I'm so glad their readers have come to their support.
- I'm so frigging excited for all you CM10'ers!!! Make sure you look for me around Mile 22.5, I'll be rocking my tu-tu and an assortment of other obnoxious paraphanelia that will make me hard to miss!
- Best part of my day: Spike was MIA when I returned home from my recovery run this evening so I called to see what he was up to, his response upon answering, "I'm picking you up some sweet potato fries." I had totally thought on my run that all I wanted was some sweet potato fries but knew we were out! Best boyfriend ever.

....and that's how I would know you lived in the south for so long! Man, do I love sweet potato fries! (am I wrong? they are a southern thing, no?)
Love that sign but I would probably replace cheese with words like chocolate or coffee.
Definitely best boyfriend ever, my husband never reads my mind I would have had to shoot him a midrun text. :)
see you this weekend!
i like sweet potato fries as well, best when mixed in with regular fries
Morgan, do you want meet up at the CM10 this weekend? I am not running this weekend and would like to "hang" out with a couple of bloggers. Shoot me DM on Twitter if you want.
That Halloween display looks pretty frickin fabulous!
Halloweeeeeeen. I love me some Halloween!
Yet I always fail to come up with a creative costume. :(
Really nice film? Now I'm really intrigued. Will try to watch it this week =)
Spike will be the "Best Boyfriend Ever" when he delivers sweet potato fries to MY front door!
Christmas World in October? You're kidding. ;) And you're right; Spike is the best BF ever for bringing you the fries!
I am still trying to figure out what to be for Halloween! We actually have a dress up party to go to so I need to get thinking!
Yumm I love sweet potato fries! So good!
SPIKE'S A KEEPER. Just sayin'.
Can't wait to meet you! I might be rocking a birthday tutu for the race as well. :) See you out there. By the way, I am totally FREAKING out. LOL, no seriously!
i didn't know about all that marie claire drama. i read both sides...it's actually really interesting. as a person who has suffered from eating disorders, depression, etc i can see how the article can make some of those assumptions. i even had to stop reading a bunch of blogs b/c it stirred up stuff and made me more anxious about eating, etc. some of the "healthy" blogs are a little extreme...in my humble, crazy opinion, of course.
spike moved you to MI...you deserve presents and sweet potato fries every day!
We are in a strange sport when someone wears a "tu-tu and an assortment of other obnoxious paraphanelia" and still does not stand out because so many other runners are wearing the same outfit. :-)

You are wise beyond your years to be at 22.5 when I for one will most likely be death-marching my way in! thank you! Cannot wait to see you!
SP fries? Spike is definitely a keeper!
How tall is that guy?
Was wondering about the movie - thanks for letting us know!
I have a different take on the article- the unpopular take- probably because I have suffered with disordered eating and had to stop myself from reading most food blogs. I do think the article was slanted and I do not agree with how he presented to them and then betrayed their willingness.
I guess I could say more here but i'll save it all for my own post.
What an awesome weekend! Um, good call no the bacon. :p
The Christmas (Halloween) store looks so fun!!!
Off to read Healthy Tipping Point... hadn't heard about this!
fun!! i love all things Christmas!
Who DOESN'T enjoy large haystack (?) people?? Doesn't take a stack of bacon to appreciate those sights... ;)
Your race-day spectating outfits/posts/outbursts are my absolute Favorite. Please photo-document!
Hope I see you in Chicago. I will definitely be looking for you. Maybe it will give me an extra boost to finish. Or maybe you can hijack my shoes and chip and finish for me??
yay! you met coach ken! i love him. met him in detroit. :)
Mmmmm...sweet potato fries, yummy!
Fun weekend! I'm jealous of your christmas adventure! It's my fav time of year! Hold onto that Spike - he is a keeper!
I don't want to fight about this anymore. Let's just agree to disagree on whether it should be legal for haystacks to get married or not.
A day without cheese is like an unsharpened pencil. There is no point. HAHAHAHA. Love it! Have fun spectating CM. I wish i was there with you--we are some AWESOME spectators, ya know. The two redheaded running gals and all.
LOVE YOU!!
OOOH, I so can't wait for Christmas!!!! I know it's early, and normally, I'm annoyed when people are all "Christmas!!!" in October, so I guess I'm having an "off" year, haha!
And you made me crave pumpkin chai latte, aaaaah, must get some soon!
Thanks for your support, girlie!!! :)
Loving the Monday Mash! That Marie Claire stuff is crazy. And sweet potato fries = yummmm!
I never thought of Coach Ken as tall for some reason...
Totally going to Frankenmuth next weekend. Hubs has NEVER (*gasp*) been to Bronners or had a chicken dinner.
