Time flies...

6 months ago TODAY, I crossed the Finish Line of my First Marathon; The 2009 Chicago Marathon.

Best.Day.EVER.

Has it really been that long? Has it's ONLY been that long?

6 months ago this weekend I met Spike, for the first time in real life, after 4 months of online correspondence absolutely naive of what lay in store...

He sure did sweep me off my feet huh?

Has it really been that long? Has it's ONLY been that long?

Time sure flies when you're having Fun...

Hi! It took me a minute to figure out who Nic was running with (I was pretty sure there wasn't a Morgan in our class:) but sweet, and congrats on your running success. I started running with Nicole and it's becoming more and more fun! You should come back and run Ann Arbor/dexter with us in June!

Yikes, time DOES fly! Scarey. The important thing is that you are truly happy in the proces, that's what life should be about! See you next weekend - can't WAIT!!! (I'll email you this afternoon) :)

Happy 6 Month Marathoniversary and Spike-iversary! :)

I love that pic... so cute.

And so know what you mean about being 'that' long at the same time as 'only' that long.

wait a sec...question...so when you buy a finish line photo they change the time clock to be YOUR time?? i have NEVER bought a finish line photo before because the time on the clock is always way off from my actual time. wow, i never knew this!! lol, i was thinking about it last night :-p

Yes, it is funny how 6 months can seem so short while 5 minutes can be an eternity.

Hi Morgan

Great pictures! There are great experiences as a runner, but very few will ever match that feeling of crossing the finish line of your first marathon. And that Spike guy? It sure sounds like he is a keeper.

Truly, best of luck with everything!
