- After work I leave for Michigan once again. I'm headed up for my cousins wedding but happily there's always the added Spike bonus! (Can you believe it's already been a month since the last time I've seen him?!?!) I will also get to see my Dad and his side of the Fam who are all in town for my grandmother's memorial service; even if it's not under the best circumstances I am still happy to spend some time with him/them, it's been too long.
- Remember when I talked about how great blind running dates can be? Well with 10 M on deck for this weekend and Spike on Taper before Boston I set up a run date with none other than the infamous Nicole of Runner Nic! Yay!!! I'm so excited to meet and run with her!
- My best friend from childhood's daughter wrote me this letter. She is training for a 5k and my friend told her I run. Isn't this the cutest thing ever?!?! I have sent her a letter telling her how proud of her I am and that we will go for a run the next time I'm able to see her so she can beat me! ;)

Sorry about your grandmother, but it is always nice to see family, even under unpleasant circumstances. That's a really sweet letter. I love the simplicity and honesty in young kids, can't beat it!
