During last Saturdays jaunt around Windermere LR and I discussed hitting up Clermont for a hill run soon... With 10 miles on deck this week, I thought what better place to run then the 10 Mile loop? Of course LR was in so bright and early Saturday morning we started our run...
10 Mile Loop Stats:

I had 800's on deck for Friday but skipped them to save my legs... Good thing I did because LR ran me hard and we totally killed it out there! We're talking Mile 6 = 7:49 P and that's with rollers! We charged the last hill and ended the run with an overall pace of 8:15... like I said, we ran 'em HARD! 10 HILLY Miles run and done! Time for the reward...
...next up: Non-running related activities with B.o.B!
I hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend and Easter spent with family, friends and loved ones!
10 Mile Loop Stats:
Mile 1 - 5 - Steady graduated inclines
Mile 5 - 9 - Rolling hills
Mile 9 - 10 - Dead legs and soft sand...
Check it: (Click any pic to make bigger) Can you tell we're close to the land of the mouse?
Mile 5 - 9 - Rolling hills
Mile 9 - 10 - Dead legs and soft sand...

Above - Nice soft clay road just perfect for running
Below - We thought it was a sinkhole, obviously he went to check it out... because really, what's a run without crossing under a barbed wire fence? Do you see a trend here?
The 10 Mile Loop starts on 5 Mile Rd. This is the Halfway Point
Orange Groves in the Morning Fog
Mile 5 - Begin Rolling Hills
Queen of the Hills!

Amazing pace and with all the hills! Good work! And I totally agree about fruit cups...no melons, please. Otherwise everything tastes of melons...
Wow! Can you please teach me to conquer hills? They are complete torture for me ={
I did not realize there were Hills in Florida! Those look HUGE for that area, maybe I should take a drive over and do a run. I like that there is no traffic. Great time!

not jealous of the hills, but I am jealous of that soft clay!!
That's so crazy to see all those hills, I need to make a trip down for some serious hill work, all we have here are bridges! And I bet that nice clay was good on the knees too.
Other than the orange groves those pictures look more like Georgia than Florida! LOL. I bet your shoes were a different color after the run! Sounds fun.
10 miles of hills? No thank you girl, but you did awesome! Nice pace on those damn things.
OMG, I used to love Chik-fil-A, it was my favorite fast food place before I began a vegetarian. That sandwich looks GOOD.
Uhh...rolling hills (those are big!), sub -8s AND 10-miles?! those three things should not go together...ha, sheesh! NICE RUN! You definitely deserved that chicken and melonless fruit ;)
Hills? In Florida? Who knew. I bet it was dusty too.
My nephews love Chik fil A, and my 9 year old is incredibly upset that we don;t let her eat it.
