If I ever needed a week to run it was last week! Seriously. My life got turned completely upside down and yet, true to my word, I stuck with the xtraining (xtraining = cross training for all you perverts out there) as promised.
Here's how it all played out:
Sunday: What better day to start then Sunday, the day of Rest. I did nothing.
Monday: Sleeping in (7am) is great! Spin class @ 6pm with "The Drill Instructor." I've never came so close to crying during a workout in my life. A.G.O.N.Y. I don't know how I made it through the whole class but I did and it made me realize I really need to get back to incorporating Spin into my xtraining days. It hurts so good. I also decided to throw in some stair drills and some core work just for Katie A.'s challenge.
Random: I had to pick The Brunette up from the airport that night and while lapping around MCO waiting for her to get her luggage a SUV stops, 3 men wearing only neon speedos, beads and top hats jump out and go shrieking down the sidewalk of the terminal. W.T.F. Why didn't I have my camera for this?!?!?
Tuesday: Elliptical, 3 sets of leg curls, extensions, presses, core workout and some more stair drills. Soooooooo bored.
Wednesday: As I threw my leg over the spin bike and lowered myself onto the seat I knew it was not going to be a pretty class... Needless to say if you are a FB fan or follow me on Twitter you probably saw me ask if it were possible to damage your lady parts in Spin Class. So painful. So I followed this second class of the week up with... you guessed it; core work and stair drills.
Random: I am seating guests at a window table at my night gig and as I lay down the menu's and look up and out, there are three people; one of whom has his pants down around his knees and is showing the other two his bare @ss, the other two (a girl and guy) are scrutinizing said @ss. The girl is wearing a dress so short that while bent over is also showing her @ss. Now granted it was St. Patty's day and all but it was only 6pm. W.T.F.?!?!? So after I apologize to the guests I'm seating, I head outside and ask the gentleman to kindly refrain from revealing his @ss in front of the restaurant. He apologizes and informs me that he was Irish and this probably wouldn't be his first time dropping his pants that evening.
Thursday: Having forgotten to turn my ringer on after work from vibrate I woke up at 7:41am needing to be at work at 8am. Needless to say there was no time for a morning workout. Rest day it is.
Friday: I had intended on hitting up Spin Class again but decided I wasn't a fan of torture so I opted for some quality time on the elliptical and stationary bike instead, followed by stair drills and core.
After worked I headed over to B.o.B's and had a reunion dinner with my favorite B.R.A. girls. I heart them so much and look... we clean up well!
Saturday: Originally I was going to hit up Bikram Yoga but it was such a beautiful day that The Brunette and I opted to hop on our bikes and ride around town instead. If not for plans that evening I could have easily rode around a few more hours just soaking up the sun!
After the ride I headed over to Beaker Luv's house for a porch night with a few of my fav O-town girls. Baby RJ greeted me at the door with this adorable onesie!! So cute! He just learned how to crawl this past week and was getting into everything!
It reads: First steps today, 26.2 Tomorrow
With the Week O'Xtraining behind me, I now head into the B.A.A. 5k PR training plan! Tonight I revisit an old friend, my "hill" for some speedy hill repeats! Can.not.wait!!!
