Hoppin' on the Q & A band wagon...

So these Q & A posts have been making the rounds and I've been wildly entertained by them so I'm hopping on the band wagon (and being completely unoriginal as it's a slow week) and holding one as well! You're sooo excited aren't you?!?!?

So here's your chance to dig deep into your arsenal... what burning questions have you wanted to ask the Redhead?!?! (Lurkers here's your chance to come out of the closet!)

Leave me a question in the comments section and/or shoot me an email; redheadrunning (@) gmail. com. I'll let them pile up and then get to them Friday. (But seriously peeps, you can drop me a line anytime, I love to talk shop!)

And while I'm jumping on band wagons and such I've also decided to get in on this Hundred Push-up Challenge Lisa over at Chasin' Bunnies put out. I love me some push ups but I never get further than 60-70 before I start slacking... so I figure if I put it out there I will have to stick with it and own up. Started Week 3 Day 1 yesterday... 100 push-ups here I come!

Thanks for the continued encouragement in the non-running saga...and for the push-up challenge! I needed a way to get in some more upper body exercise, since alot of the total body stuff I do is "off limits" due to my foot issue...

60-70 pushups? Holy moly lady. I do like 20 and collapse. You are amazing.

Questions, hmmmmmmm.

What do you do (job)?

What would your dream job be?

What's your SECOND favourite activity after running?

Hmm...my burning questions...I have to think about this haha

I have a question...if you could live anywhere in this fine country of ours, where would it be? :)

Or...have you ever pooped yourself while running? Sorry I have the mind of a five year old.

Man if I could get to 10 real pushups I would be excited! I can only do like 5 (hangs head in shame).

If I had enough readers to do a Q&A I would totally hop on the bandwagon too!!!

Okay I have two:

How long were you a blog lurker before you started your own?

If you could visit anywhere in the world, for free, for one week, where would it be and why?

a few:

one) is your knee and or foot better?

two) favorite reindeer--you have to have a favorite?

three) your favorite local 5K?

four) a ninja and a pirate get into a fight, who wins?

I'm going to start 100 Push-Ups soon too!!!!
My question is: Tell us some more dating stories! I've loved your stories in the past, and would love to hear more!
Also, what's your favorite food? Do you keep track of what you eat during training to make sure you're getting enough of everything, or do you just wing it?

What was your marathon training plan?

Also please more dating stories. I need someone to coruminate with! My track record with men is bleck.

And I love that graphic!

60-70 pushups? You are my hero!

LOL @ lindsay's question above. ;)

Let's see.... what is the BEST thing about living in FL? How about the worst?

Wow, sooo original.

Abs - what exercises do you do - and I swear if you say "none" I'm going home and crying. LOL

Ok....my question has to do with your apparent love of abreviations...you should provide a key to what all of them stand for...

60-70 pushups is amazing. My question is, girlie or regular? I can not to one regular push up to save my life!

RunToTheFinish said...

oh you need to stop by for another challenge i'm hosting...wohoo.

let's see my question really is just what tips do you have for humidity running!

Jeri said...

oh my god...you can't seem to get past 60-70!??!?!? geez amazon woman. I was proud of my PR of 27. :p

Why did you decide to move to Florida?

The Laminator said...

Yay, I've been waiting for your Q&A, so I can return the favor...

Here goes:

1) Since you asked me, does you work know you're a blogger? If they do, what do they think of it and has it ever helped or hindered your professional work?

2) If you can run one mile with anyone anywhere...who would it be and where would you do?

3) If you were only allowed to put one running-related item on your life bucket list, what would it be?

4) Triathlon or ultramarathon?

5) Betty or Veronica?

Have fun with these! Can't wait for your responses...

Oooh, you are going to LOVE the hundred pushup challenge! We did it earlier this year and it kicked my tail. Sadly, I gave up pushups as soon as the 6 weeks was over. Weak. The program really works if you'll follow it though. Good luck!

Ha, so, apparently I'm with everyone else - 60-70?! that's A LOT! You'll get to 100, nooo problemo.

Hm, this info might be out there in the blog somewhere - but, did you play any sports during high school or college??

An easy question, but so hard to answer:

Why did you start running?

And an easy one:

Best running memory?

Lemmings!!!! LOL!

Hm. What don't I already know???

Um.

Uh.

Oh I got one! What is the most important marathon training tip you learned prior to Chicago?

Mel -Tall Mom on the Run said...

How did you get to be so awesome?? LOL...I have no questions...

A little Bloggy link love on Tall Mom today..

Hugs to being Robin's pacer-redhead this weekend!!

I didn't think I could think of a question (besides the obvious one of who do you love more than anyone else :) ...but I did :)

BE HONEST!! What's one thing you miss about your life pre-training for marathons? And your answer can't be Carrot Cake cause you should just eat it, it's a vegetable darn it all!!!!

When running a race when is the last possible moment you would or have actually passed someone just to improve your place standing in the race?

bill carter said...

Hey RR!

Just getting caught up with a little blog reading and had to stop by.

Congrats on Chicago and that looks like a fine time to me. I especially like the post race picture and if I didn't know better (having experience with the whole space blanket thing like 27 times) you sprouted shiny butterfly wings??

Take care!

Teamarcia said...

Oh good, I am not the only one roped into the 100 pushup challenge!
And my question:
WHen are you coming back to Chi-town?

Amanda said...

Lol at that Lemming Pledge, that's awesome. Hmm..questions...what first made you decide to become a runner? Have you always been athletic? What are your top few hobbies outside of running?

M2Marathon said...

Ooh, questions...

1) probably says somewhere but I can't recall...what is your favorite flavor of Gu?

2) What is your favorite movie?

3) What was your favorite mile of Chicago, and why?

4) What is your all-time, best run ever (race or training)?

RunningLaur said...

Hahahah Lemming.

Do you have any pros/cons for being short in races? (You're so tiny and cute!) I've been freakishly tall since I was little and have always dreamed of being small in crowds - being able to maneuver all fast. But then I get to thinking about guys armpits and whatnot, gross. Thought you might have some funny insights or stories :)

What is your favorite post- long run meal?

What is your favorite post-race (Half marathon or longer)meal?

What do you eat before a long run

What do you eat before a race (any distance)

You would think I'm hungry right?
