In our year together we have:
- Ran our first 5 mile race.
- PR'd a 5k @ 26 min.
- Ran 2 10k's. (51 min. PR)
- Ran our first 10 mile race.
- Trained for and ran our first Half Marathon.
- Trained for and ran our first Full Marathon.
Yes 27, we've had quite the run together... a full year of absolute amazing.
But alas, our time is over and now I must embrace 28. I can only hope that I benefit from all the time we have spent together... Here's to hoping that 28 will bring me less injuries, rounds of PR's for all the races you and I made our maiden voyages on and many more adventures. Thank you 27, for everything... and here's looking at you 28! Happy Birthday to ME!

Happy Birthday yo! I ran two marathon PRs, ran my first 100k, and then topped it off by running the 72-mile Smokey Mountain section of the Appalachian Trail during my awesome year of 28, which ended last May. All that being said, ENJOY IT!
