Good luck with the 20 miler this weekend, once you knock that run out you'll be ready to go...just watch out for the "taper madness" over the next few weeks

Chicago will be awesome, 3 of my friends and I are running as well!!

Go long!

Chicago is a great time. Start now with your mental prep concerned with staying back for the first 10 miles. This race is full of excitement and it is very easy to get out too fast.

I thought you were running 20 miles for fun. I mean, doesn't everyone?

Have a great run this weekend!

You'll love running in Chicago. I ran a 5K there back in June and it was such nice weather. Hot, but not as hot as Houston. :)

So I keep meaning to tell you about this little article in Fitness magazine this month. I think it was the September issue, anyway, in the back of the issue it lists some great places to eat at all the major marathons this year, and Chicago is listed, you have to check it out if you can because they talk about this yummy place with some grilled veggie pasta dish. Um, carb load much? Yeah I think so.

Sounds like you are going to have a great experience in Chicago. Let me know how it goes ... still haven't run that "small" marathon. Good luck on your 20, which I'm sure you are in the middle of running at the moment!
