- I am THANKFUL for all the amazing people and wonderful opportunities that have come into my life since I started writing this blog. I never, EVER, thought that anything would ever come of this blog. I started it as a way to chronicle my training and concurring of the Gasparilla Half Marathon but somewhere along the way, with your support, it has turned into SO MUCH MORE.
*Stuffs canary back in mouth* - Better late than never, I want to thank Kelly over at She Wears a Red Sox Cap for giving me this award:

The rules are I have to pass it on to 15 other blogs so here goes:
Discom-BOB-ulated Running
Healthy, HOTT, Housewife
Tall Girl Running
Running Spike (I can give this to a guy right?)
Chocolate Shoestrings
That Pink Girl
Steve in a Speedo?! Gross! (Another guy since I'm on a roll)
Finishing is Winning
Runner's Rambles
Pink Pearls & Muddy Sneakers
Tall Mom on the Run
Tall Guy Surfing (One more for good measure)
It's Trickey
Girl with the Red Hair
Chic Runner - And finally... in lieu of my impending 20 Miler on Saturday I'd like to do a call of arms of sorts... I want you to comment me with a link back to your 20 Miler Recaps... The good, the bad, the ugly... I want to read it all!

Thanks for the award buddy! This blogging business sure if fun, so I THANK you.
No help on the 20 miles...unless driving counts?
I think I have another blogger who wants to join our Wednesday run! Her name is Lexie. http://www.dillmypickle.com/
Wow! I'm impressed....your marathon is only a week before mine and you're already doing a 20-miler! Way to go!! Hope it goes well for you. Can't wait to read the re-cap!
WOW thank you for the award!! What a treat.
I just re-read my 20 miler, started grim but ended really great..enjoy the read!! You will be great!

Okay, so it's not QUITE 20-miles, but here's a post from one of my 30K runs last summer:
The ins and outs of my first 30K run
(20mi=32K)
i don't know if it's just b/c i am really hungry right now (hurry up lunch!) but the pink in your background makes me think of icing. driving me crazy.
my previous 20-mile training runs weren't too bad. one i did part with a friend - he ran some and biked the rest. the other i did totally solo and it wasn't bad, surprisingly.

good luck! get pumped up for it :) i think i have 20 this weekend too...
20M is just four segments of 5M. 20M is glamorous when its done, but difficult around mile 15. nothing better than a post 20M run nap. plus, people think you are heroic (and you are) after you run 20M. I like to let people know in the most casual of ways--like wearing my t-shirt that says "I just ran 20M, what of it?"
Thanks for the award! I love blogging too - never thought I'd be addicted to it or that people would actually read it! So, thanks!
Good luck Saturday! Run Morgan Run!!!! I'm looking forward to hearing about it! :-)
Thanks for the award!!!
Never done a 20-miler. One day soon. I hope!
Gracias for the award.
Good luck on the 20 miler. I don't have any suggestions yet, but take plenty of hydration! I'm excited to read your recap; I bet you are gonna have another adventure of a run!
Enjoyed the post. I will let you know how my 20 miler goes in a few months. I think my longest run before my marathon is the day before my birthday. Happy birthday to me, huh?
Enjoy your day and thanks for making me smile:)
Can't provide a link because my first 20 miler was so long ago. I can tell you that whomever mapped out the course screwed up and about 30 of us ended up running 24 miles.
Take your time; hydrate; you'll do just fine.
I've run 2 chicago marathons, and actually the 20 milers were some of my best runs!! I felt great, I felt like I could have run farther, I didn't have chafing issues anywhere!
Best of luck to you, hope the weather is good!
Although mine were in September in Chicago, not the middle of the summer!
do you want them all? haha i can email them to you :)
thank you for the award!!! <3
isnt blogging the BEST?!?!
I'll drive 20 miles.... Thats alot of running. Have fun and dont cause that much trouble on the run!!
For you 20 miler make sure you bring enough fluids and gels!! You'll be fine.
Hi Morgan
I am such a serious runner that I go to all these running blogs and we gab like a bunch of old women. What I really need to do is go to blogs like yours that have all kinds of beautiful women who still manage to talk about 20 milers and all things running.
Glad to hear about the new site and I am heading there now.
BTW, I just did a 20 mile progression last Sunday and it went great. Just have to get in that mindsight... "I will not stop, I will not stop,"
